Thank you for choosing to have a Story Time Felts catalog party!  You and your guests can look forward to some simple and fun catalog shopping and truly wonderful products at a great price.  Whether this is your first party or your 101st, I will work with you to assure that it will be a rewarding one.  Just follow this easy checklist, and you are well on your way to earning loads of FREE felt and discount hostess rewards!

  Note the date you get your hostess pack and mark it in your calendar. 

Plan to have all your orders ready to go within one week!   It is important to set a short deadline so that your friends and family can all receive the items they order in a timely fashion.  Working to show the catalog as much as you can in a short time also allows you to keep the energy and enthusiasm high.

  Plan for success by taking the "10-5-1" Hostess Challenge. 

Have at least 10 orders, 5 completed prize drawing forms, and 1 prearranged booking and you will receive an additional free gift from me at the close of your party!!  I will explain each of these criteria more as we go, and completing this checklist will guarantee that your prize is in the bag!!

  Choose to whom you'll show the catalog. 

Who do you know that would just LOVE the Story Time Felts products?  Think of people from many different groups and all walks of life.  Here is a short list of suggestions to help you brainstorm.  Write down any names that come to mind - don't worry about whether or not they will purchase - just write it down, show them the catalog or refer them to the website, and let them choose for themselves!  Remember, to have at least 10 orders for your party, you will need to show the catalog to 25 - 30 people. You can show: friends, home schoolers, parents, crossing gaurds, school teachers, bus drivers, relatives, former teachers, day care providers, grandparents, neighbors, children's friend's parents, college students, new moms, beauticians, PTA members, club members, preschool teachers, Sunday School teachers, friends from church, scout leaders, coaches, co-workers, or librarians.  As I said, these are just a few .  You can show anyone at all who has a child in their life - and that is just about everyone!!

  Keep track of your catalogs.

Though it is fine to leave your catalogs with friends or family members for them to look and make selections, be sure you know where the catalogs are at all times.  These are your tools!  Try to keep them in your possession as much as possible, so you always have them handy to show people.  If you do leave one with a friend or neighbor, be sure to schedule a time to check back with them, take their order, and get the catalog back.  If someone really wants a catalog of her own, just have her contact me and I will mail one immediately!

  Get 10 orders.

Along with the catalogs in your hostess kit, I've included a special Outside Order Form for your convenience in collecting your orders.  Just follow the instructions for calculating sales tax (your local rate) and shipping. 

  Get at least 5 completed prize drawing forms.

I have also included some prize drawing forms with your kit.  I appreciate any input or insight I can get.  Anyone who completely fills one out will have her name entered into a drawing for a free gift valued at up to $15.  It shouldn't be hard to get everyone to fill one out!   Choose an Online Party Date.

I love to work with all my hostesses online, as well.  When you confirm the dates of your party, I will also give you a "party day" on my website.  That means that you can invite friends and family (even those who don't live near you) to order on the website and not only will all those orders count towards your party total, but so will all of the unsolicitied orders I receive that day!  I average anywhere from $30 to $300 or more in orders every day.  That will go a long way towards boosting your totals and getting you even more rewards!  Plus, these orders count toward the "10 Orders" criteria for the Hostess Challenge.   Get 1 Prearranged Booking.

Take a look at your guest list.  I'll bet you can spot at least one person right away who will love the Story Time Felts products and would like to get some for FREE!  Invite her to pre-arrange her party date.  You'll receive a $15 Booking Certificate to be redeemed at her party!  Contact Me with her information, and I will get her hostess pack to her ASAP.
